Guess Who's Back?

Waah! It’s been ages again since I have written anything on my blog- but it’s not because of lack of happenings but the opposite. I have recently finished two courses from FACE (Filipino Association for Computer Excellence) and they are Graphic Design & Fundamentals of Digital Video Publishing. My original objective was to just re-hash my knowledge in Adobe apps such as Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects. What I didn't expect was to win a medal for Best Logo and be considered to be one of future instructors.

Of course the optimist in me would like to consider this as another feather to my cap but the pessimist in me thinks that this is another one of the many mediocre trades I have but still, I am a Master of None yet. (Now who's the eager-beaver?)

But according to the investment banker’s work principle: “For every 10 things I work on, one happens. For every 10 things that happen, three are definite failures, five are mediocre successes and one or two are good successes.”

I still have hope right?

So I searched the web, and found out that I am eligible to take up a Master's degree from UP Open University! I will enroll in Master in Public Management and hopefully, I will be able to see it through (fingers crossed).

Aside from these things, (I have plenty on my list, only shows how bored I am with life) I will also be doing my first ever pre-nup shoot gig (for a client not for me) this September. Please pray for me. Hope it will jumpstart my sleeping business again.

All in all, I am a writer without a published book, a photographer with no formal portfolio, a businesswoman with a sleeping biz, a graphic designer with no clients yet and a corporate slave with a lot of time in her hands. So guys, keep the gigs comin'!

Based on this goal setting book that I read, I must put everything in writing and try not to lose sight of the Bigger Picture so as to realize all my SMARTER Goals.  Oh I really wish I could accomplish all these things before I turn 30 next year. Just have to put all my heart and soul in it, which are everything I have now. Here's to a hopeful 29th year!
